※ 본 계산기에서는 정상 성인의 Hct 을 45% 로 가정하였습니다.
- Reticulocyte : 말초 혈액에서 reticulocyte 의 양은 조혈 상태를 반영합니다.
- Corrected Reticulocyte Count : Hb 이 감소하면 상대적으로 reticulocyte 가 증가한 것처럼 보이는데, 이를 보정한 것이 Corrected Reticulocyte Count 입니다.
- Reticulocyte Production Index (RPI) : 조혈이 증가하면 erythroid cell 이 미성숙한 상태로 말초혈액으로 나오기 때문에 reticulocyte 로 존재하는 기간이 길어지는데, 이를 보정한 것이 Reticulocyte Production Index 입니다.
- 빈혈 환자에서 RPI 가 2.5 이상인 경우 용혈(Hemolysis) 또는 실혈(Bleeding) 을 시사합니다. (단, RPI 가 2.5 미만이라고 해서 용혈과 실혈을 배제할 수는 없음.)
